Now it looks like we have a new bunch of thugs and rascals in charge; there is no reason for any of us to expect any different behavior - no reason at all. And that is a sad commentary on the House and Senate. But if they start bickering, start going backwards, then it is clear that they will do nothing at all. They just won't listen, can't hear or simply don't care. But if things start to get bogged down in hearings, hearings and more hearings with no action taken, it may be time to get the tar and the feathers. These people have no fear - they get in, they get a few interns and they are gone...you can't find them and they never call you back. Where is the energy bill in all of this? It is nowhere and they won't revisit it - it is up to us - each and every one of us - to task these clowns to get busy amd get some results. Here's what we need to have happen: Eliminate the tax credits for the oil companies - all of them. Embark on a program to make the US energy independent within 10 years - we are giving these islamic facists the money to get on the internet and threaten to blow up the White House - enough. Stop the oil revenue, do it now, and let's move to the freedom of a decentralized hydrogen economy. Want full employment? The transition to DHC will give it to us in many, many ways. Here's a song about losing jobs that was sent to The Hydrogen Club... it's great. The transition will be painful, it will be drastic but it is the only way forward. No wishy washy congressional crap - get it done, do it now or the american people will take action and it will be swift. Since we suggested a little Tar and Feather Party, we have received two tubs of pine tar, three 30lb. bags of feathers and two hickory rails. No more escapes to The Betty Ford Clinic - no more hiding - it is stand up, be the political giant you promised us you'd be as long as you got our vote - and take the medicine. Tarred, Feathered, and Rode out on a Rail. It's simple... and it sends the right message. |
